Just a friendly reminder that after Jan 14 Windows 7 and editions of Windows Server 2008 will no longer be supported by Microsoft. This could mean many security vulnerabilities could pop up and leave your systems at risk. You should upgrade Windows or look at getting an updated computer. The Samsung galaxy S10 series is available to order now. They have three sizes of phones this time and the regular yearly improvements like every smart phone manufacturer does.  From what I can see they have put in a larger battery and there are options of storage size up to 1TB as well as 8 or 12GB of RAM! I must say, it is impressive spec wise comparing it to my Galaxy Note 8. Prices are par for the popular phones these days. I’ve put some links below to check out if you’re ready for an upgrade!

Samsung is releasing their new watch this week. Surprised it has taken them this long to do so. The Gear S3, their last model, was released in 2016.

Samsung has made some improvements. There is a smaller version available now and the internal workings use less power. If you’re a smart watch person I’ve put some links below to Samsung’s official page as well a a link to an article comparing the Gear and Galaxy watches.

Interesting issue developing on the Apple front. Looks like there is a major security problem with Apple’s FaceTime app. If you call someone and follow the steps outlined in the linked article below you will be able to listen to their phone with out them knowing. It’s basically like tapping their phone! Apple is aware of the issue and is planning on having it resolved this week. In the mean time it’s recommended that you disable FaceTime on your devices. More info is in the article. Reach out if you have any questions or need further instructions on turning FaceTime off!

It’s almost new iPhone time for those of you that grab the newest Apple has to offer. Scheduled to be released on the 21st the new iPhone XS models will be out. Unlike the X and like the 6,7,8, the XS will come in two sizes as well as three colors. Below is a link to the official XS page on Apple’s site for those that want to take a look at the new feature set. It does have some interesting tech specs, but I still didn’t see anything about pencil support. As always, if you need any help getting your data transferred to the new hotness send an email and we’ll give you a hand!
